I used the Dan-D Alamo Bowie original pattern to create these. The knife is 16.5"/ 11" blade. 5/16" 01 tool steel / brass inlay in the blade. Heavy double lugged brass hilt. Imitation Ivory Micarta with brass spacers for some bling. #5 of 10 is now at home at The Alamo.

Dan donated this knife to the "Daughters of the Republic in 1968." It was the first modern Bowie by any Knifemaker to be on display at The Alamo.

The original knife Dan built now resides in the grand entry of the new Alamo Museum on the Alamo grounds. The Dennehy family is very proud of this.
